He got some relief on Friday when the next hearing in the 2002-hit-and-run case was shifted to July 24, but rumours about Salman Khan’s personal life continue to enrage him. The actor, believed to be seeing Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur, is apparently seething at the way she has become fodder for

gossip in the media.

“Salman bhai is surely not liking the disrespect and disregard towards a woman in the press. In fact, he doesn’t want any of his family members or close friends to talk about such things in the media or otherwise,” says an industry insider.

A few days ago, a news daily had carried images of Iulia and her ex-husband Marius Moga from the past.“Of course, Salman bhai has always been very particular about women and their dignity, especially in the media. So naturally, he doesn’t want any more of it out in the open. And that’s why you aren’t likely to hear anything about Iulia from his family members or pals,” adds the insider.  

Iulia, meanwhile, has returned to Romania after spending about two months in India. She told a Romanian portal, “I travelled to India several times and one of the travellers I met was Salman Khan. He is a good man, loved by many people, and donates a lot of money to the needy. However, there is no question of a relationship between us. We’re just friends.” To another website, she said, “He’s a good man, a great man. Has a good heart. I’ve known the family. They’re great people.”

Ever since she ventured into Bollywood, Sonakshi Sinha has held on to her modest on screen garbs like a bird guarding her nest. But it looks like the actress is finally letting go. Insiders say in her upcoming item number in Akshay Kumar’s next, Sona is expected to send the mercury rising by donning a slinky short dress.

A source says, “Sonakshi will be at her seductive best.”
Apparently it was Akshay who convinced Sona to go bold. “In spite of her having had reservation about her appearances in the past, she signed up for it. She felt it would be a good get-away from her regular desi image.”
Tanya Ghavri, who has styled for Sonam Kapoor and Asin in the past, is said to have designed the actress’ costume. Sona will also be donning another shiny, sexy grey number in the track. The actress had gone for gold even in her item song in Sajid Khan’s Himmatwala.
The music track will also feature Prabhudheva.

The team behind Bhaag Milkha Bhaag celebrated the success of the film by partying at J W Marriott in Juhu, a western suburb of Mumbai.
Farhan Akhtar, who plays the title role, wore printed trousers with a jacket while Sonam Kapoor looked glamorous in a James Ferreira gown, pearl earrings and a clutch by Bottega Veneta.

Starring Girish Kumar as Ram, a young Indian boy who was brought up in Australia, Ramaiya Vastavaiya follows him to India where, at his cousin’s engagement, he meets and falls in love with a doormat Sona (Shruti Haasan). Sona rejects him but Ram isn’t one to give up. He ‘pursues’ her to every corner of the flower-and-light covered, newly whitewashed shaadiwala ghar that appears in every second Bollywood film from the 1980s, through the 1990s; until eventually she too feels that “something-something”.

The illusion of happiness is shattered when Ram’s domineering mother finds out about them and she (surprise, surprise!) disapproves. She wants him to marry a rich girl but Sona is a poor orphan. Her only family is her brother Raghuveer (Sonu Sood), who raised her from the cradle and is the guiding force in her life. When Ram’s mother insults Raghuveer, Raghuveer returns to his village with his sister, all unbeknownst to Ram.
